CHECKOUT PROCEDURES
- If you used linens please wash and replace.
- Please plan to use the same bath towel each time and remember which one is yours!
- Put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and run – dishwasher soap under the sink.
- Discard ALL food that was brought onto the premises.
- Take all trash out to bear containers in front of garage. Locate the garbage can labeled #3.
- Lock all sliding doors, close and lock windows.
- Adjust heat to 50 degrees.
- Make sure TV, Stereo, and DVD are all OFF.
- Lock front door and place key back into the lockbox.

- Rental/Damage deposit will be retained from guests who do not respect this request.
Shoes, Boots, Gear, Etc.
- Please remove all shoes and boots when in the house. There is room in the entryway and under the stairs to keep all shoes and boots. Ski gear can be kept in the garage.
Heater Control
§ Thermostat is located in the hallway on the second floor.
Washer/Dryer
- Available for your use. Laundry soap provided on shelf above washer.
Towels
- Available for your use. Located in 1st floor and 2nd floor hall closets. Dishtowels in 3rd drawer to the left of refrigerator.
Bed linens
- Bed linens are provided on each bed. Linens for the sofa bed can be found in the 1st floor closet. There are extra pillows and comforters in the bunk-bed room on 1st floor. Please wash and replace any linens that you use.
Dining Room Table
§ Please be careful not to place wet/hot items directly on table. Place mats are in the third drawer to the left of the refrigerator.
Cleaning Service
§ Will come and vacuum, dust and clean the house every two weeks. However, please be considerate of others in the lease and do not leave a mess.
TV, DVD, VCR and Stereo
- There is a DVD Player, VCR and stereo with CD player and jack for your iPod.
Internet Access
- There is free high speed internet at the house. The cable modem connection is under the side table next to the TV. There is no computer.
2nd Floor Shower
- Please be sure to close the shower door on the 2nd floor to avoid excessive water on the floor.
OUTSIDE OUR HOME
Trash / Recycling
- General trash goes in the trashcan under the kitchen sink. When full, there is one large trashcan in the bear bin in front of garage. All recycling goes in blue bags and put in the trashcan in the garage. There are extra bags under the sink.
Trash pickup
- The garbage man comes on Tuesday morning.
- PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY GARBAGE OUTSIDE, ESPECIALLY OVERNIGHT, AS IT WILL ATTRACT BEARS, AND NOT THE NICE ONES!
Guest Passes for Tahoe Donner Facilities are at the house. 4 people allowed per pass, please be sure to leave the passes at the house!!
